Fr. David Hudson in Romania

Fr. David Hudson arrived in Romania in 1993 as an Evangelical missionary. He converted to Orthodoxy in 1998 and in December 1999 was ordained as a priest in the Romanian Orthodox Church. Currently he teaches Missions at the Orthodox Theological Institute in Cluj and   serves as a missionary priest in the Archdiocese of Cluj, where he is also involved in Orthodox charitable activities. You may read the testimony of his conversion in these pages and you may send him a message at hudsons@mail.dntcj.ro.

His life offers a testimony to the West about the reality and depth of a Christian faith which has its beginnings in the first centuries of Christianity and continues to the present day. He is also a testimony to the Romanian people as he brings a Western perspective and helps them overcome centuries of isolation and understand the value of their own Orthodox faith.
